This, the tantalizingly horizontal "Paws EP“ by northern german dubbernauts CHIN CHILLAZ (aka Felix Wolter & George Solar) marks a return in more than one way –
almost a decade after releasing quite an influential mini album (called "Peas in Basmati“) on infamous Vienna imprint DOPE NOIR, owned by legendary downtempo popster WALDECK.

A bunch of trademark slo mo remixes (for a.o. DIGITAL JOCKEY, RAZOOF, and of course WALDECK) plus numerous prestigious compilation entries led to an epic production phase, followed by a loooong break - taking care of various side projects & other private life stuff took over. Felix: "we kept meeting once a year or so still for a 2 or 3 day session at my studio though, and from these sessions we always saved, edited & tweaked our favourite loops, dubs, fragments & bits over the time... til one day last year we both felt it was finally time to release the essence of what we piled up as a vital sign and that way making a true downtempo statement“.
